MATLAB: How to get the figure window to pop up with the animation playing when I execute the code

Also, for some reason whenever I add to the code and then re-execute to test how it's running, it saves it from where it left off, as opposed to starting from the over from the beginning. Sorry, I'm kind of new to this. Any help would be appreciated.

  • You probably mean you want to make the figure the current figure and bring it to the foreground. If so:
    figure(1)
    cla;%if you want to clear the axes content
