MATLAB: Install Matlab on another OS

Dear Matlab community.
I have Matlab installed on my Laptop ( currently Windows 10) and a License assinged to it. I decided to switch completely to Linux and delete Windows entirely, but i don't want to buy Matlab again. Is it possible for me to do this?
As far as i know i can link other laptops but is it possible to do it with another OS?

  • Yes this is fine. You are also permitted to dual boot. Your license is not specific to an OS.
    I recommend deactivating MATLAB before uninstalling as it might have been activated for a different hardware component on Windows
