I installed the sqlserver based on the Microsoft Documentation.
The following commands are executed correctly.
wget -qO- https://packages.microsoft.com/keys/microsoft.asc | sudo apt-key add - sudo add-apt-repository "$(wget -qO- https://packages.microsoft.com/config/ubuntu/16.04/mssql-server-2017.list)" sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install -y mssql-server sudo /opt/mssql/bin/mssql-conf setup systemctl status mssql-server
But when I try to install the SQL Server command-line tools, the following error occurs.
sudo apt-get install mssql-tools unixodbc-dev Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming.
